Verified by Visa - Confidence and Security when you shop online

Verified by Visa gives you the peace of mind of knowing that no-one but you can use your Visa card online.

All you have to do is link a password and Personal Assurance Message (PAM) to your Visa card. Once registered, you will be shown your PAM and asked to enter your password every time you shop online with a participating Verified by Visa merchant.

The appearance of your PAM will confirm your transaction is being authenticated by Community CPS. Entry of your password will confirm that you really are the authorised cardholder.

Once your password is checked, your identity will be verified, the transaction will be completed as normal and your will have the peace of mind of knowing no-one but you can use your Visa card online. It’s that safe and simple!

Naturally, you can also use your Visa card in the usual way at online stores that are yet to participate in the Verified by Visa program.

How do I register?

Register for Verified by Visa on the Internet in just minutes.

1. Have your Verified by Visa member registration number and Visa card in front of you. (If you haven’t received your number, or if you have misplaced it, please contact us on 6286 0555).
2. When you have your card and registration number handy, click here and follow the prompts.

How does it work?

1. When you’re shopping online, purchase goods in the usual way and entrer your Visa number when requested.
2. If you are dealing with a participating Verified by Visa merchant, a pop-up window will display your Personal Assurance Message (PAM). This reassures you that you are connected to Community CPS Credit Union.
3. Confirm your PAM and then enter your password.
4. Your purchase will be authorised and your order will go ahead as normal. It’s that simple!
