Edvest Retirement Information and Planning Service
Any Community CPS member who is aged 50 years and over or retired is eligible to become members of the Edvest service. This service is specifically designed to help our members prepare for retirement and make this time of your life as hassle-free as possible.
An important part of the Edvest service is the range of tailor-made investment products on offer. There are several account options available to Edvest members and they all offer a very competitive interest rate. In general, all Edvest products offer a 0.25% bonus just for being an Edvest member.
Edvest members are encouraged to attend the financial planning seminars that Community CPS run throughout each year in conjunction with Bridges Personal Investment Services. Members are also able to meet with a financial planner for a free consultation to discuss any financial needs.
Tailored Financial Products for Edvest Members
Redifund Plus Account (S30)
Minimum deposit of $1,000 required to open account, then balance can fall below $1,000. There is a seven day retention on all deposits and the minimum transaction is $500.
Interest: Calculated daily and paid quarterly
Access: Community CPS Branches, Telephone and Internet Banking
Regular Income Plus Account ( I32)
Minimum deposit of $5000 required to open account.
Interest: Calculated daily and paid fortnightly into a nominated Community CPS account
Term: 12-24 months
Monthly Planned Withdrawal Plus Account (I30)
A minimum deposit of $5000.
This account repays the principal plus interest in equal instalments into a Community CPS savings account. The term of the deposit can be between 12 and 36 months.
Deferred Interest Plus Account (I36, I38, I40)
Minimum deposit $500.
Interest calculated daily and paid on maturity or for terms greater than 12 months interest can be paid annually. Interest paid annually is paid by cheque or transfer to a savings account. It cannot be re-invested or compounded.
Terms range from 3 to 24 months.

Terms and conditions apply to Edvest membership. To join Edvest it costs $26.40 (including GST) per year, the initial payment is made at time of joining and debited annually from a Community CPS account on the anniversary of the joining date.
