Variety Club Bush Bash
In May, Community CPS sponsored the “Capital Terrace Auto Repairs” VC Valiant Station wagon in this year’s Variety Club Bush Bash.
The Bush Bash is an annual event which raises funds for the Variety Club. Money raised goes towards helping sick and disadvantaged children all over Australia.
The week long bash involves ‘teams’ who must have a car of pre 1966 vintage and raise, through sponsorship, the $3,500.00 entry fee which goes straight to the Variety Club. The teams then drive across NSW taking part in special tasks, competitions and fundraising events to raise money. They visit country towns and schools along the way, giving out lollies and goodie bags to students and people who line the streets as the cars pass through.
It’s a fantastic time for all involved and the money raised goes to a great cause as well.
If you would like further information or are interested in joining the Bash please contact the Variety Club.
