Becoming a Member

It is easy to become a member of CPS. All residents of the ACT region are eligible to join. You can join by visiting any one of the eight CPS Branches located throughout the ACT.

You become a member/owner of the Credit Union and join more than 42,000 other members, by subscribing $10 to purchase member shares in the Credit Union.

Under Federal Government legislation, when you initially open your membership we are required to identify you and we therefore request that you bring with you several forms of identification, including a birth certificate or passport if possible. Specific information on the 100 point identification check requirements can be made available on request.
